Transcripts--help!!!

<p>Firstly, I rescind my comment about not checking off stuff. I haven't logged for a while at Berkeley App, just BearFacts so I didn't notice the new list until today.</p>

<p>Okay, so now the question. Apparently, Berkeley has not received my UCLA transcripts nor my Chaffey College transcripts. I just called UCLA's Office of the Registrar and Chaffey's Records Office; UCLA sent out the transcript to Berkeley April 29 and Chaffey sent it out May 6. It's now June first, with more than 17 business days involved! They still have not updated.</p>

<p>I called the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to speak to a rep. The rep, named Sheryl (or Cheryl) said that the office is working at it's prime...it's entering information TWICE a day.</p>

<p>Transcripts must be legally returned to the college that sent it if it's the wrong address; the transcripts have not been returned.</p>

<p>So, what should I do? UCLA is sending another copy out just in case (the woman was really, really nice) and Chaffey is asking me to wait at least a week. Berkeley wants me to sit idly for another week, despite the fact that they're not backlogged (or so they say) and the fact that transcripts were sent over a month ago.</p>

<p>So, what should I do? Is anyone having the same problem?</p>

<p>Wait a week, and then do something about it, since the due date is July 15.</p>

<p>I've had the same problem. I sent in my transcript about a month back, and they still haven't received it. Infact I sent in another one, more than a week ago, but still no luck. They're probably lazy as hell.</p>

Ask the lady to check your files. I did the same and she said she had received my transcripts. Don't rely on what the online thing says. Dammit, Berkeley is so inefficient. I hope the next 4 years wont be like this.</p>
