Transfer Applicant- Chance Me?

<p>Crossing my fingers for this year! Applying to transfer into the Comp Sci department as a sophomore this coming fall.</p>

<p>HS:
GPA UW- 3.24
EC's- President of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America)
SAT- 2070 (730 Writing, 690 Math, 650 Reading)</p>

<p>Freshman Year of College (First Semester):
GPA- 3.70
EC's- Vice President of my class, on campus job (sound tech), active member of NSCS (which is a joke, but I guess it's something)
2 (hopefully) strong Teacher Recs</p>

<p>I'm thinking my chances are much slimmer due to that shoddy High School GPA, but I've a strong upward trend from high school senior year till college (Mary Washington, Virginia) so I'm hoping for the best.</p>

<p>It looks as though this entire forum is cluttered with ‘Chance Me’ threads, something I didn’t take note of until late this evening. If anyone could direct me to a UVA forum dedicated solely to ‘Chance’-related posts, please post a link. Thanks.</p>
