Hi, I am student at Trinity College hoping to transfer to U Mich. I received a 3.7 GPA this semester as well as rowed crew. I received a 1990 SAT and 31 ACT in high school. I previously applied to Michigan but was reject after receiving a 3.1 GPA in high school. However, I received great recommendations and took more than the expected amount of classes. I was hoping Michigan would see my turn around in college and was wondering what my chances are of being accepted. I also have a parent who's alma mater is michigan.

My son had a 31 ACT and a 3.6 unweighted and did not get in out of high school last fall (waitlisted). He got a 3.8 in his first semester in college and has applied as a spring transfer but has not heard yet. I’m thinking they may want a full year of grades for you but I have no idea just a guess.

My son was accepted today as a Spring Transfer

1 semester @ GVSU with a 3.8 and accepted to LS&A

Do you think I’d be able to get into LSA at U of M as a transfer? I have 1 semester at MSU and am currently in my second semester and currently have a 3.78 GPA. Thanks!
