I am currently a freshman at a local community college in my second semester looking to transfer to MSU for the fall 2015 semester. I applied to Michigan State after my first semester but I only achieved a 2.9. I applied with an intended major in Packaging, which only requires a 2.9 to get into the program. MSU average gpa for transfers is a 3.0. I intend to have completed 31 transferable credits by July. If I raise my GPA to a 3.1-3.2+ after this semester will I still have a shot of being accepted.
