Transfer chances to Ivies for an unusual girl...?

I know this is long, but if anyone could help give me an idea of where I stand, I would LOVE it~~

I'm currently a freshman at the University of Wisconsin.
sigh I know its alot to slog through. Chances please? You have NO idea how much it would be appreciated...

It's difficult to give you a straight forward idea of your chances since your high school experience was so unique. The uniqueness of your high school experiences should help your chances of being accepted, especially if you emphasize them in your applications. The competition for transferring into the colleges you listed is really tight because these colleges retain the majority of their freshman, so there aren't as many spots open to transfer students. I'd say that you have a decent shot at Brown because it generally has more spots open for transfers. You'll have a good shot at the other colleges if you make yourself stand out with your language skills and unique experiences. Plus, in your application essays, you need to really show why it's a necessity for you to transfer as opposed to describing why you'd like to transfer so that you can attend a college with more prestige. If you’d like to know the transfer statistics of the colleges you listed, you can find them on the “transfer statistics” thread. Best of luck to you.

thanks! anyone else??

Your unique experience is definitely a plus.

you seem very bright. i think you have a very good chance. i love that you started a film appreciation club.

thanks ptmagnolia. :)
does anyone else have any thoughts/comments? there are alot of views but hardly any posts...

c'mon anyone else pleeeaaase~? offers cookies

big warm chewy ones with chocolate chips

Theres a lot of views and no comments because of the unusual factor. Like a lot of people who were homeschooled you do have a lot of Ec's. I agree with harri who said that that you chose highly competative schools so you chances aren't so good at the high end schools of the list such as Harvard and Yale. However, your chances at schools not so high up on your list like Duke or Columbia might be more realistic.
