Applying for Fall 2018 semester.
Major: Applied Mathematics
HS GPA: 1.5ish
CC GPA: 4.0 (3.94 if we count ROP class in high school)
Total Earned Credits: 53.00 (+12 after this semester)
EC: Math tutor in school resource center, math club president, participate in competition mathematics (AMATYC).
I’ve taken two non major courses as P\NP. (Political science and Spanish).
Looking into any UC I have a chance at and am also open to suggestions.
The good news is that for junior transfers to UCs (and CSUs), your high school grades and GPA are not considered (a few low level requirements may be met by passing grades in certain high school courses, though if you do not meet those, there are other ways to meet them through college courses). So with your 4.0 college GPA, if you have all major prerequisites and general education (e.g. IGETC) preparation for transfer completed, you will be a strong candidate at all of the UCs (though the admission competition level at UCB and UCLA is very high, so they should not be thought of as anything close to a sure thing).
