<p>In years past, about 1500 transfer applicants have applied and 12 have been accepted, for an overall transfer acceptance rate of less than 1%. I imagine the successful students were able to identify what Harvard offered them that their current school did not. So, what specifically does Harvard offer you that you can’t find at Cornell?</p>
<p>Oh and FWIW, Harvard College’s Dean, Rakesh Khurana, has his undergraduate degree from Cornell, so there are folks at Harvard who have intimate knowledge of both schools.</p>
