<p>Hello I am a freshman at Villanova looking to transfer to UVA. What I am struggling with right now is how to approach this essay. There are things I like about Villanova such as the student faculty ratio, school spirit, and some of the friends I have made. Things I don't like are the severe lack of diversity, majority of rich snobs from new jersey (at least my feeling), and the atmosphere at times. It seems like everything is happening off campus and it is dead sometimes. The thing is I am in the business school at Villanova and I do want to do finance. UVA is a step up in this department, but not huge. UVA has great traditions, more opportunities to grow (clubs/activities), great balance between social stuff and academic stuff. My question is knowing my situation can anybody help me figure a way to approach my essay.</p>
<p>A college application essay gives you the oppurtunity to tell the college about yourself. Tell them your goals, what you are majoring in and why. You could also write about a person in your life that is of a good influence to you.
I’m also trying to transfer and am writing an essay, and it’s hard.</p>
