Transfer Credits

I’m currently a student (just entered sophomore year) at a small, private university. During my senior year of high school I applied to OSU and was accepted, but ultimately chose my current college due to location and size (main campus at OSU was very intimidating to me as a rising freshman!)
I already have some credits at OSU from dual enrollment during my senior year of highschool (at their Lima branch), so I know that those will transfer. But I was wondering if anyone knows how well my credits from my private university would transfer? Does anyone else have any experience transferring to OSU from a private school? I plan to talk with the school about this before I decide if I’m transferring or not, but I figured this would be a good place to ask around as well. I want to transfer to OSU mostly due to financial issues and possibly for easier class scheduling (class scheduling at a small school can be difficult because there are very limited sections). But if the credits I’ve accumulated already won’t transfer well then I don’t think it would be worth it depending on how much work I have to make up.
Also, to other transfer students: what made you decide to transfer to OSU?

OSU recommends using Transferology
“My school isn’t listed on Transferology—can my courses still transfer?
Absolutely. We only list some of our equivalencies on Transferology. Courses meeting the transfer criteria above will be awarded credit in most cases.”
