<p>Hey, btw for anyone who checks the UNC Admissions home page for any reason, they now have a link that says "Welcome New Transfer Students" so it does look like they're going to be telling us today.

<p>ive got them all...i took a look at the admissions page...makes me confident about getting decisions today as well...but i dont want to get my hopes crushed...good luck..i hope everyone posts their results and icon correlations hah if they do...</p>

You alone are giving me hope. If those icons meant anything significant I'm pretty sure your nephew would have them. Weighlisted last year, 3.8 college gpa, lots of ECs, 25 hrs, I don't know why he wouldn't get in unless he did terrible on the SAT or something</p>

<p>samuial: for me personally I live in maryland and adore the coast plus my sister will be going to school in VA. As far as the differences go michigan is f*ing cold but I think both schools are awesome, which is why if UNC rejects me I'll be just as happy to go to Mich (okay maybe not JUST as happy ;-)</p>

<p>A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier. Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel plans. So, the husband left Minneapolis and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day. The husband checked into the hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without realizing his error, sent the email.</p>

The widow decided to check her email expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted.
