My high school grades were poor, but my undergraduate record is much more impressive. I've never received anything lower than a B. I'll be applying for transfer from a Big Ten school. I'm worried that Cornell won't even consider my application due to the fact that my high school record was terrible. Any advice? Do they take ECs into consideration? I'll be applying as a junior transfer, by the way.

Does anyone know anything about this?

If they’re considered it will be minimally. By the time you’ll have applied, you’ll have 3 college semesters under your belt and they will weigh those much heavier than HS grades. Additionally, I think that if you have a high school EC that stood out, you can certainly highlight it but by that point you can show off your college ECs.

That’s good news. Thanks, william95!
