hello, I'm a student who recently moved to the U.S. and has already done a year in university elsewhere (although I took only 5 classes the whole year because of personal/family issues so it wasn't full time). I am now looking for a fresh start , and I've been told I need to go to community college in order to get my grades up before I can transfer to a 4 year institution. I am 21 years old and I want to major in either nutrition or engineering, is there any chance I can transfer to a university such as Cornell (which is my dream school) from community college ? and what would it take ?

thank you for your help! :)
