Transfer from PSU

Hey guys, I’m looking to transfer to Nova from PSU. I’m looking to be closer to home and get into a better business program. I originally applied for the current academic year last year, as a senior in high school, but was wait-listed. My unweighted GPA in high school was 3.65 and weighted was 4.45, taking all honors an AP classes, SATs broken down are reading: 580, writing: 600, math: 600, my ACT score was 26, and after (willingly) doing summer session at Penn State Main Campus, my GPA is a 3.83, which is unlikely to drop much if at all. I was thoroughly involved in high school and am in several clubs an organizations at Penn State.

  1. What do you think my chances for admission are?
  2. Would giving up the huge alumni network of Penn State be worth the prestigious name of VSB?
  3. Are any of you or do any of you know transfer students that could offer any advice?

Thanks!

I am a current student and I can say one thing: VSB is prestigious, but transferring here also gives you a huge alumni network. We might not be as big of a school as PSU but our alumni network is HUGE and really enthusiastic. Most students find internships/jobs through alumni
