Transfer From Usc...need Input Fast!!!

Hi, I'm a freshman at USC majoring in business. I'm looking to transfer for my sophomore year. The list of colleges I'm looking to transfer to include: Cornell, Columbia, U of Chicago, Stanford, and Northwestern. Because I'm a freshman and do not know much about transferring and my chances, please pleaes help me out here & give me some inputs! thanx~

College Stats (enrolled in Marshall of USC):

Fall GPA: 3.91 (16 credits; although easy classes)
Spring GPA will be somewhat lower, since I'm taking writing & math. Still, I'm confident I'll get at least a 3.5, which would round down my overall freshman GPA to 3.7-3.8.

I'm part of Marshall Freshman Honors program, which admits 20% of the incoming Marshall students.

HS Stats:

GPA (weighted): 3.91 with 8 AP courses and 9 Honors courses.
SAT I: 1480 (800 Math, 680 Verbal).
SAT II: 760 Math IC, 680 Writing, 740 US History, 800 Korean.
AP Tests: 5 Calc AB, 4 US History, 4 PSYCH, 4 Euro History.

Do I even have a decent shot at getting into the schools I've mentioned?! I really need some input because if I have no shot at getting into those schools, I should make some adjustments and so forth...ALSO, please recommend a few schools that SHOULD be my target schools.

THANX!

ps. I have an impressive set of extracurricular activities for my high school record. But, I haven't been too much involved in college. Would that hurt me significantly in transferring?!

Why do you want to transfer? You seem to be off to a great start.

ru from California btw???

wat about NYU Stern?

you should really look into what pre-requisites you would need to transfer into each college before you even consider transferring.

I'm from NJ...I just don't think Southern Cal is for me. As far as NYU Stern is concerned...NYU does not lest students defer the acceptance..and I'm planning on taking a year off after freshman year before enrolling...so...I would love to go to Stern...but for now...it's not one of the options. :(

i don't think you should take a year off. you should transfer as a junior and your chances of admission at those schools will go up significantly.
