Transfer into Stanford from USC?

I was wondering how difficult it would be to transfer into Stanford from USC? I am currently a freshman at USC double majoring in business and accounting (part of the 5 years masters program but if I stay at USC I will get it in 4 years due to AP credits) but don't feel like USC is the right fit for me and have always loved Stanford. I unfortunately didn't apply to Stanford out of high school (huge regret) but now I really want to transfer there. I understand that Stanford is extremely competitive to transfer into after sophomore year but I am just wandering what my chances are? I currently have a 4.0 and plan on maintaining that gpa the next year. I am extremely involved at USC and will have excellent professor recommendations. What should I do to help my chances of getting into Stanford and do I have a chance?

Anyone correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Stanford has a less than 2 percent acceptance of transfer students each year. And those who wish to transfer are probably really competitive applicants such as yourself.

it is extremely difficult but it is possible
however, from what I have seen, most of the successful transfers transfer there after freshman year.
of course, if you can maintain a 4.0 gpa and stay involved, i think you will have a “better than average chance”
if you dont think USC is the right fit, i would suggest you apply to a few others as well.
