Transfer or no?

So.. it's been more than 2 months since school started and I really don't like my current college.
I am canadian and I attend the univeristy of toronto. I don't like it for two main reasons:
1. the class sizes are way too huge, imagine sitting in a room with 1200 other students all looking down at the professor whom you can't even see clearly because he/she is too far away. Forget about class discussion or askin questions, you are practically invisible.
2. the people here are generally not very friendly in my opinion. Perhaps this is due to the major i am in (pre-med). everyone is so cut throat and everything is about academics, and you are under the constant impression that people only talk to you because they need help with something.

But of course, I chose U of T in the first place for good reasons. I am from toronto myself so I can live at home which saves me the expense of residence; in addition, i was offered enough scholarship to pay all my tuition expenses and have extra money after for all four years if i maintain a certain average. but is the money that i save worth 4 years of unhappiness?

I am doing quite well right now. After my first set of midterms, i can see that i am generally in the top 1-2% of all my classes, and am confident that I will be able to achieve ~4.0 gpa. So what I want to know is whether i have a shot at transferring to cornell.
some additional stats:
- SAT I (from high school): CR 800, W 700, M 800 = 2300 total
- SAT II: Math II 800, Chem 780
- Took IB, if I transfer, I may get credits for my HL courses: math, eng and chem

I know cornell is not all about academics, but from my understanding, for transfers, academics is the most important component.
What furthers my concern is med schl.I am looking into med schl in the states after undergrad, and it seems that many of them require at least 1 year of undergrad experience in the states. If i were to stay here in canada, would that severely jeopardize my chances of getting into top american med schls? and would i have the same scholarship/financial assistance opportunities as a cornell applicant?

I sincerely hope that someone can answer my questions or give me a little guidance about whether to transfer.

ummm....anyone? :(

Cornell's premed classes are also huge. And Cornell premeds (and premeds in general) are competitive.

Cornell's intro classes are usually huge as well. I think gen chem is somewhere around 500+ students in one room? But this is expected at almost all universities (including the other ivies). The premeds here are also unfriendly. I know for certain that most of them only talk when they need help. They are very fake and you can see it in their smiles when they talk to you. Perhaps they should force all premeds to take an acting class before enrolling. In fact, learning to lie well will come in handy many many times throughout your college career. Unfortunately, that's just how the system is built. But unfriendly is one thing but when they go out of their way to screw you over, it's a whole different game. I personally know a few people who got their notes stolen or entire textbooks stolen by other premeds.

So I say no transfer.

but what about my other question?
will going to undergrad here in canada affect my chances of gaining admission to top medical schools in america?

I def. think that u ll have a better chance at getting into the med school of ur choice by doing premed here in the states. Every school is competitive in pre-med but I think that u might find the environment outside ur premed classes more friendly at Cornell....u should visit and see for urself.
Oh, and u def. have a shot at transferring to Cornell....ur stats are truly amazing .I just hope ur ECs are equally as good....
