Hello, I am a high school senior, and I was rejected from Cornell early decision. I really, really like it there, and would like to attempt to transfer. I just got accepted to UMD college park, so I may go there, depending on my other results (which I'll know in a few months). What can I start doing to prepare to apply for a transfer? When is the earliest I can transfer? I would probably apply to the CALS. Also, what do they look for in transfer applicants? SATs? Extracurricular activities (wouldn't it be harder to do as many in college?) Thank you

Anyone? ####

if you wish to transfer to cornell, you should do that after your first year. Make sure u take the prerequiste required for your major and keep ur gpa above a 3.7. tranferring in as a sophomore they will look at ur High school records and it will have a great impact on their decision.
In ur first year of college try to get involved on campus.
