Looking to get in at:
Stanford
Columbia
NYU

Thank you for the input

I would apply to Stanford. With the chances infinitely small - they take something like 1% of transfer applicants - go for it.

NYU isn’t particularly difficult to get into, is it? That’s just my perception. Obviously, being at another big New York City institution, it’s common to harp on the others. As such, I’ve only ever heard bad things about NYU and probably shouldn’t comment.

Columbia’s GS program is a very strong maybe. IDF is really, really well represented at Columbia. I haven’t been here long and I’ve already met three, maybe four Israeli soldiers. I wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to apply.

Incidentally, is it the animal or human part of the humane society that you’re referring to?

Thank you so much for the input.
About the humane society, I have been volunteering with dogs.
About NYU, I actually went to an info session and got a weird vibe. I also applied to Stevens tech in Hoboken and I think that If I get into only NYU and Stevens I might choose the latter. My major is CS and they have a very good program. I am interested to hear what you heard about NYU if you feel comfortable with that.
