Hi everyone, I know, you're probably tired of answering this question, but I combed through the Columbia transfer admissions site and found nothing. So, could someone give me an idea(or a link, that'd be great) as to whether I need to have completed certain courses when transferring to Columbia? Thanks in advance!

the answer unfortunately is on the columbia site....just imagine if the course is hard enough and see the requirements match the matching data on the table; most of the time there needs to be some type of board approval so iono.

no idea what bboytwizzy just said but it doesnt sound right.

you should never go to a college and take courses with the mindset of transferring because that way you are just setting yourself up for disappointment. You should just fulfill your school's freshman requirements. If you do get into columbia as a transfer you will have to take all the core classes that freshmen take anyway since they hardly ever accept credit from similar classes at other colleges for those subjects. However you should be able to get credit for basic intro classes that you take freshman year.

I couldnt understand a word of BboyTwizzy's post either.

Anywho if I go by what Shraf is saying then the pre-requesites part of the columbia admissions process is extremely straight-foward (unlike my other dream school berkeley)

Basically you just; fill in the application. Have your transcript forwarded. Send in the essay (and proof of all EX, prizes, volunteer if asked) and thats it?

Im taking requirements all semester-long for berkeley- and cashing in my quota of electives.
