<p>So I am an incoming sophomore transfer student who just decided to transfer from a small East Coast private school to a large Midwestern university. This decision was very difficult, and was prompted by the 66k of debt I would accumulate over the next three years at the private college. I just decided that I was receiving an education that wasn't worth that much debt, especially when a friend's parent generously offered to pay my full tuition and housing for the next three years at the Midwestern university.
At this point, I have no clue what I want to major in. I am split between attending this university in the fall, or starting in the winter and adding to my limited job experience while also taking courses at my local community college and hopefully pondering and deciding on a major. I am in no rush to complete my education by May 2015, but want to know which option the cc posters think is smarter..</p>
