Hi-Is anyone applying for transfer student admission for fall 2016 and have you heard anything yet? How long does it typically take for them to get back to you regarding and admissions decision? Are the majority of transfer students admitted? Any information regarding transfer students/applications would be helpful!
@curiouscollege46 I was a transfer student for the fall of 2015… I applied on 3/24/15 and I officially sent all my items including transcript, letter, etc around 5/27/15. I got an answer around June 5th so once my application was complete it was a very quick response from UD about 9 days. For the most part I believe transfer students have a better chance of being admitted and I think it is around a 55% acceptance rate for Fall transfers. Thank you so much @tsixe121! I applied at the end of feb and had all my materials in at the end of march, so hopefully I’ll be hearing back soon. Did you find that it was easy to adjust at UD and get involved with campus activities/make friends?
I applied April 1st and haven’t heard anything yet. I called and they said eight to 12 weeks. I hope it doesn’t take that long.
Personally, UD asked for my final spring grades, which come out at the end of May. I’m assuming that I’ll hear back from them by early June. From what I’ve heard, once they have all your materials, they make their decision pretty quickly.
