Hey, is anyone having a problem with the transfer supplement on the common app site? All my info looks good until I print preview it. Then it looks like the text is too big (not all of my birthday/social security number fits into the space...even though its from a pull menu, not typed in...) and the botton 1/4 of the text is cut off. Also it won't let me have paragraphs in my essay which is semi crucial because otherwise it just looks awful. I have a Mac, could this be the problem? I've done everything the website says and also tried it in three different browsers. Is anyone having a similar problem?
Thanks!

When I was using Linux to fill out apps, I had a problem with none of the information showing up when I print previewed (VERY disconcerting).

Luckily, I dual-boot, and when I went back to Windows and used Adobe Reader, it looked fine. (For the record, when I finally got Reader for Linux, it was fine too.)

Basically, I think it's an Adobe vs. generic PDF viewers problem (I'm assuming that MacOS probably comes with its own PDF viewer). It shouldn't pose a problem for the admissions department, because they will definitely be using Adobe software. I don't think you need to worry about it.

I could be wrong though... Anybody with a Mac have any experience with this kind of thing?

yeah, i am having the same prob :(

Ok, I tried looking at it on a friends PC and it was fine. Does that mean I should send it from a PC or will it be fine if it is sent from a Mac and read on a PC?

everything has worked so far from my mac. i havent submitted (sheesh, though i learned my lesson last year) but the print preview comes up okay.

Im going to give us all a big hug right now, and take a collective deep breath suck on some lollipops.

phew, thanks guys, i feel much better
