I am currently a college freshman about to complete my first year of college. When I applied to Baruch, I had a 2.9 GPA and my SAT was around a 1500. What are my chances getting in with these grades? (I would be instate). Also, my GPA is in line with the classes I took my first semester. Since then I’ve gotten my GPA up to about a 3.2/3.3, will they look at my second semester grades or do they just focus on the grades you had when you applied? It’s been more than 10 weeks since I applied and I am growing worried, thank you in advance!! (by the way this is for the Fall 2016 semester!)
I called the office of admissions and they told me that my application was complete and that I would hear back near May… What does this mean??
I also applied as a transfer around early January, got my rejection letter in March, appealed and got accepted early this month. So as for what the “hear back near may” may mean, I would personally say you’ve been rejected due to the pure fact I’ve been in contact with admissions twice regarding my decisions whereas they haven’t replied back to you for some reason.
