<p>Besides having a slightly biased opinion, I do think that there is a big decision here for you. The real question boils down to what your aspirations are? I dont particularly like Purdues location either, in fact, as soon as Im finished Im out of here lol. But for me it is important to have the name recognition on my resume, and in reality it is why I came to Purdue over in-state schools where Im from. Have people been very successful with a less reputable college on their resume, certainly. Have people been very successful with no college degree at all, certainly. But I think in general life will be a little easier for me in the future by not having to explain where I went to school, especially since Im not sure what part of the country I want to be in yet, only that I know its not here haha.</p>
<p>Anyway, two years really isnt much in the big picture - it just feels like it right now. I think in the long run you will have been happy that you stayed at Purdue, if you choose to do so. Moving back in with your family, while it has its benefits, probably isnt the best choice for most college students - it should really be a time to gain your independence, and learn to deal with life as it really is sometimes(not always enjoyable).</p>
