Transfer to Duke from a community college?

I want to major in Biological Anthropology, but for academic/financial reasons I need to start off at a CC.

what are my chances of being able to transfer if I didn’t do so well in high school (I was diagnosed with lyme disease and missed so much school), but I do extremely well at a CC?

We need your College GPA, and if you’re a current Freshman and applying as a sophomore transfer, we need your High School GPA and SAT/ACT scores.

Duke does not have a Biological Anthropology major (although it’s likely you could major in several other disciplines and take essentially the same coursework). Here are the majors, minors, and certificates offered by Duke: http://admissions.duke.edu/education/majors.

They have evolutionary anthropology that focuses on primates. It’s one of the best undergraduate anthro programs if you want to study primatology

Yes Duke does – and thank you – however, that’s not the MAJOR the OP cited in the initial post.

Chances are not very good for anyone. For instance, 2013-14, Duke admitted 40 out of 607 applicants. You will still need to submit HS transcripts and test scores. I would pick privates that have a better transfer chances and publics where there is an established path to transfer.

Look at this program, though
