Transfer to GSU. Now or Later?

I just finished my freshman year at Gainesville State College. I took 15 hrs in the fall and 12 in the spring. In the fall, I got 2 B's 2 C's and 1 D. I realized how big of an idiot I was and in the Spring I got 3 A's and 1 B.

So overall I got 3 A's 3 B's 2 C's and 1 D. 27 hours total.

Nursing major.

My SAT scores were 530 Reading 550 Math and 540 Writing.

I am planning on taking 2 courses in the summer and I am confident I can get A's.

I am registered for 14 hours in the Fall. (Anatomy/Physiology+L, Calc 1, Linguistics, GRMN 2001) (Anatomy is also the first Nursing class) I plan on taking the SAT again in the fall when I'm further into my Calc class.

My question is, should I apply for transfer to start GSU in SPRING '13 or stay at gsc for fall '12 and spring '13?

Is my GPA salvageable enough to transfer?

Should I take ACT as well?

I got a D in MATH 1111 (College Algebra) and I got an A in MATH 1113 (Precalc) Is there any way I get that D off my transfer GPA?

The sooner you transfer the better. Because not all credits you take at other colleges will be counted at gsu. And not to mention there’s a waiting list for nursing majors.
