So I’m a rising freshman at ECU and thinking about transferring to UNC as a sophomore (so after 1 year)…can someone pls chance me based on these scenarios?
College GPA: 4.0 (Public Health Studies Major)
High School GPA: 3.4 (W) 4.57 (UW)
EC’s: Undergraduate Research, 2 Clubs, Job-shadow over my winter break, and become a HIV Testing and Health Education Volunteer
SAT Score: 1240/1600 (bad I know)

So you have completed one year at ECU and want to transfer for Fall 2018? If you maintain a 4.0, I would think you have a high chance of being accepted. Scores aren’t really that important as a junior transfer.
I’ll be a sophomore transfer…do u think I still have a chance?
@TranslationLost I’ll most likely have to submit my SAT scores from high school and really hoping that my college grades will make up for it, and I made sure to do well my senior year in high school as well (7 APs, 1 honors class, 4 A’s and 4 B’s total)
I guess I am confused. You have a college GPA already, but you will be applying as a Sophomore transfer? Did you take college classes in high school? Assuming you are going into your freshman year and will be transferring for next fall, I would say it is impossible to guess at this time. A huge portion of the decision will be based on your college record.
This should be a good reference to shoot for.

@TranslationLost this is just a typical scenario…I’m interested in transferring and if I accomplish these things do u think I have a shot?
@TranslationLost and I’ll be applying as a first year transfer to join UNC my sophomore year
