hello!
I’m just wondering my chances of getting into UW Madison. My high school career I ended with a 3.3 weighted gpa (my school had a more competitive grading scale for ex: A= 100-93). My Act was a 24. I didn’t get in my first time so I’m currently attending Madison College (Madison Area Technical College). My first semester gpa was 3.2 taking English 1, College Algebra, Economics, and Psychology. I am taking more rigorous classes next semester (Biology, Earth Science, English 2, and Basic Statistics). I was wondering if I have a decent chance of attending UW Madison. I know my first semester grades are kindof low and they prefer 3.5+, but I hear transferring is different from applying for the first time and if I do good on the rest of the application what are the chances? Thank you!
