Hi. I currently study at a Top 25 college but am thinking of possibly transferring to UPitt to save money. I have heard it gives amazing merit scholarships and was wondering if anybody knows if I can get this as a transfer student? I had a 34 ACT and straight A’s in high school. In college I have a 3.8 GPA in engineering from a very academically rigorous school.
Hello,
Transfer students are not eligible for University of Pittsburgh merit scholarships. However, there are some transfer scholarships available. If you would like to learn more about the scholarship and aid opportunities available to transfer students at Pitt, you can call the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid and ask to speak with one of our Transfer Admissions Counselors. 412-624-7488.
Best of luck!
