Transferable credit evaluation..

So currently I go to a university on the quarter system, 5 credits per course. I've been accepted to oxy as a transfer student and i've taken a total of 18 courses, 3 a quarter. Now, I'm not that good at math, but they're saying that I'm supposed to multiply my credits by .66 to equate the units. This would make sense if each course at oxy was 5 units, but apparently it's 4, at least from the little research i've done. Also, the normal course load is supposed to be 4, so 16 units a semester at oxy, which matches with their max transferable units, 64(16*4 semesters) Wouldn't the conversion factor then be .75. since 3/4 i= .75? IDK, someone please please correct me if I'm wrong, but the registrar director is being rather snappy.

edit: I gueess it doesn't quite compute evenly, when you multiply by .75, but doesn't it mean they're substantially understating my units? EX: 15*.75 = 11.25, shouldn't they at least grant me 11. Wouldn't it be easier to match the number of courses, not the credits?
