Hi, I'm currently enrolled as a freshmen at the University of Washington(Washington State). I really want to transfer to the Cornell School of Hotel!. If anyone has any advice on how to be a good transfer applicant I would really appreciate it! My credentials are as follow..I've alreay done a lot of research, and I'm currently working in a restaurant industry and will roughly begin employment at a hotel in a week or so. I'm not quite sure what kind of resume the School of Hotel is looking for; I know work experience is a big bonus so of course I'm trying to emphasize that, as well as the interview. My high school GPA wasn't very high, at 3.5 but I took about 9-10 AP courses. I have several state championships for music and I was accepted into the University of Washington school of music, but unfortunately none of that has anything to do with hotel management...I realize that 4.0 in college would be very helpful and currently as how things are going I'm pretty sure I can get anything between a 3.7-4.0. My SAT score was a so-so 2000 and I didn't take any SAT IIs.

I heard that many people who transfer start early, could anyone tell me roughly when is a good time to submit your essays/recs/transcripts? Thanks!

If anyone could help me thank you so much! Any advice is greatly appreciated!
