Hey guys

I just typed a hugely long explanation of my problem in here, but was logged out before posting. I don't feel like typing it all again, so here's the gist of it:

-I am a composition major at Temple University's Boyer College of Music. Composers have a specialized curriculum that emphasizes musical skills and spreads gen-eds throughout the four year program.

-By the end of my sophomore year (the last year I wish to spend at temple), I will have:
- 16 credits from Music Theory I-IV
- 2-4 credits from Secondary Piano and Basic Conducting
- 4 credits from Composition Lesson I-IV
- 6 credits from Music History
- 8-12 credits from French (depending if I take III or not)
- 3 credits in english/writing Playwriting
- 3 credits in American History from a film class
- 9 HONORS credits from Human Sexuality, World Music, and French-Algerian History

And I may have forgotten some. As you can see, the majority of the credits are in music. So I am troubled by seeing text such as this from San Francisco State U's transfer requirements:
"Complete 30 semester units (45 quarter units) of general education, including four basic skills courses"

As a music major wishing to continue education in music, will I find myself hindered by the type of curriculum I've been put in at Temple when I try to transfer to a California school?
