Although I’m thinking this is a bad idea anyway, I figured I’d ask.
After my freshman year, I transferred out of the school because I wanted to go to a school with a better program of study for me, despite having a very enjoyable experience with organizations & people/atmosphere overall. I somewhat enjoyed my sophomore year at my new school, with my program being more of what I was looking for, but I really wasn’t a fan of being a part of the school itself, despite being very academically successful. So I decided to readmit to my first school, but it’s the summer before I’m supposed to go and I’ve been going back and forth on whether I should stay at my current school or go back to my original school. Lately I’ve been considering transferring to a third school, out of state (which I never I felt I could consider before) that has a program I like & a similar atmosphere that I’d enjoyed before. However, it’s obviously too late in the year to apply.
Would staying at home & working/taking the semester off be a good idea? Or even going to school at either one another semester & then transferring again if I decide to still go to the third? Or should I just go with deciding between my two original schools & having to be somewhat unhappy with the decision either way? I know I for sure want to go to grad school, and that’s the most important thing to me right now, but I really want my undergrad experience to be a good one too.
