Transferring from Stony Brook to Rutgers-Camden

Hi everyone, I am a sophomore at Stony Brook University and I am trying to transfer to a new school. I have a GPA of 3.3 in health sciences while playing for the D1 soccer team and doing an internship at the SBU Hospital. I am trying to transfer to D3 schools so I can play every game and get a better education. What are my chances of getting into Rutgers-Camden?

Hi. I’m also currently transferring into RU-Camden (from RU-New Brunswick so my transfer is a bit easier). This isn’t the right application for you, but this page (https://www.ugadmissions.rutgers.edu/schooltoschool/req.aspx) will allow you to take a look at the minimum requirements needed to be accepted at Camden depending upon which college you’re applying to. For instance, you need at least a 2.0 GPA to transfer from Rutgers New Brunswick’s School of Arts and Sciences to Rutgers Camden’s College of Arts and Sciences. Since you have a 3.3, I would say you have pretty high chances.

Why would you want to go from Stony Brook to Rutgers Camden if you have a 3.3 in health sciences? Why not apply to Rutgers (NB) at least?
