Hi, i currently am a sophomore at UCSD, and i want to transfer to UCI after this year. I haven't really been happy here and basically i want to move home and go to UCI. I have a 3.45 GPA, but that is slightly offset by a 3.065 GPA last quarter. I have 44 units before this current quarter, and i want to transfer as a public health major. I plan on getting a 4.0 this quarter, despite a rigorous schedule. What are my chances? Please be kind.

I also got into UCI out of high school. I doubt that helps but I just thought I’d say it

I wish someone would reply

You should post this on the UC transfer thread to get more informed answers. I know that UC to UC transfers are difficult so all you can do is try. Have you been meeting with an advisor at UCSD to help you with this transfer or have you contacted UCI and asked them what your chances are?

Just apply and see what happens because there is less chance from UC to UC transfer but not impossible.
