Transferring into UC Irvine?

I was thinking about going to California, to get into one of their community colleges, so later I can transfer to UC Irvine. I am already aware about the cost and it'll cost me around 100k+ total including the two years at Irvine or Davis and including apartment fees, etc.

I was wondering, let's say I have a good gpa and meet all the requirements to transfer to UC Irvine, would I be able to get in? I was also thinking UC Davis, but Irvine is better for computer science and my goal is to work for Google.

So, what do you guys think? If I were to "move" to California to attend one of their community colleges, would it still be hard for me to transfer to UC Irvine? I am going to apply for the TAG program.

Reason why I am planning on going to California's community college not my local one, is because the UC's give higher priorities to people who attend community college in California, than let's say someone from Arizona.

Also, I did kinda poorly in high school and got a 3.0 GPA and a ACT of 23. So, I was hoping I could do better in a CC and maintain a GPA of 3.5 (needed for transferring students for Irvine).

I am also going to major in Computer Science.
