Transferring into University of New Hampshire

Hello,

I am a freshman at a school in New England, and I would like to transfer next year. I would like to apply to UNH and possibly major in criminology or maybe double major criminology and psychology. I applied to UNH as a senior in high school, but got rejected. I don't recall my GPA exactly, but my SAT score was a 1510. I also didn't have enough community service. I had done key club, been a captain of the football team, and won a few awards for football, but other than that I didn't have much else to show. So do you think there's a chance for me to get in as a transfer? If not, what would be my best option in order to improve my chances?

                                                            Thanks for Reading!

They will still look at your HS transcript but not your SAT. https://unh.edu/institutional-research/sites/unh.edu.institutional-research/files/14-15%20CDS%205-15-15%20revised.pdf Section D. I don’t know why you think your ECs kept you out. Those are only considered (Section C7). Looks like it’s almost all rigor, class rank and GPA for freshman with recommendations being important.

Thanks for the reply @Erin’s Dad, I got a 3.6 GPA this semester (Dean’s List), so I think that’ll definitely help my chances.
