Transferring to an Ivy League university after community college or after four year?

I'm currently enrolled at the local CC (I d*cked around the first couple of years in HS) and have been maintaining a 4.00. Moreover, I'm looking into taking the SATs again (I took them blindly in my junior year and scored 1510/2400 (awful, I know)). Many of my professors could write very strong letters on my behalf and any entrance essay shouldn't be much of a problem. At the moment, I'm looking at transferring to a couple very well regarded state universities. Ever since I turned my act around at the end of my tenth grade year, I've been determined to eventually obtain admission to an Ivy. How can I make this dream a potential reality? Here are my options:

-Continue at CC, graduate, apply...
-Enroll at one of the two state universities, keep rocking, apply to Ivies (and other top-tier schools)

My major is engineering, by the way.

transferring twice is probably not a good idea. finish up strong at your CC.

Alright. Will coming from a CC hurt my application when I apply for transfer admission at, say, Cornell? In any event, I do have back ups if things don’t work out-there’s always graduate school ;).

you’ll be fine, just know that cornell’s acceptance rate to the CoE is around 6%.
