I applied ED II to Lehigh for my freshman year but I ( not surprisingly ) got rejected! I will be attending Muhlenberg College this year, which I am very fortunate for, but I still think I’d like Lehigh better.
I am not very knowledgeable on transferring colleges, but what would Lehigh look for if I was transferring from Muhlenberg? They are quite different from each other, so I don’t know if that would change anything.
I have no idea what Lehigh would look for but encourage you to give your actual college a chance. You may find you really like it, like the people and want to stay. Know of many kids in your situation (different schools). Generally speaking, the ones who started with an open mind found they landed at a great place and wouldn’t want to transfer. I would call them happy and proud. The other kids, who were intent on transferring from day one seemed to miss out on lots offered at their present local.
Give it a try. If you truly don’t like it, then worry about transferring.
I agree with @rickle1 That said, if you decide to apply to Lehigh, you will need to improve your writing skills. Study word usage - of, for, about, etc. Good luck! — A Lehigh Alumna
