I'm currently attending a county college, and I plan on transferring to Rutgers NB next fall. However, I'm worried about my chances. Due to a poor first semester (2.5 gpa), my overall gpa plummeted. The next semester I put in a lot of effort (got a 3.7 gpa) and managed to bring my overall barely above a 3.0 (currently it is 3.02). Do you think I have a chance at getting in? I plan on applying at the end of this semester, hoping that I can at least raise it to a 3.1 before I apply.
Also, is it worth waiting to raise my GPA a bit more or should I just apply now? Thanks!

Hello I have a 3.0 with 41 credits in two semesters.
I will be getting my associates degree next spring/summer.
What are my chances?
