Transferring to top schools from community college

I am a freshman considering quitting HS to start taking community college classes full time after this year. I want to peruse an associates degree in physics at my local community college. Does anyone think that this would completely nullify my chances of transferring into top schools like MIT or Harvard to finish up my bachelors degree.

If I go through with this, the worst case scenario is that I get stuck at an instate school for my junior-senior year of college(I'm from Arizona).

Are you a freshman in high school?

Yes. In my state if you take enough community college classes, all the high school requirements for instate colleges are waived.

I think most colleges want a high school transcript. Just take community college classes while you’re at high school; it’s not that hard.

Doesn’t your district have a dual enrollment program? In my state you can go to a CC full-time instead of high school, but it still counts toward high school.

Bad idea. You can transfer to some top schools but Harvard rarely takes transfer students. MIT I’m not so sure about. Either home school or stay in high school.
