Transferring to UNCW/Transfer Scholarships

What stands out about UNCW? Are there ample opportunities for transfer scholarships?

I'm currently a freshman pre-nursing major at UNCG, but I'm thinking about looking elsewhere for the next three years because life on and around campus here just isn't the most satisfying for me.

However, I am a part of the UNCG Scholars Program, meaning that I have some extremely needed merit aid. Additionally, my parents are unwilling to help me out financially if we have to take out a loan, so I really need some sort of merit aid to help me out if I will ever be able to transfer. We can handle tuition/books/fees just fine, but room/board makes it more difficult. Are there many opportunities for transfer scholarships at UNCW? My GPA and SAT scores are at the end of the post, if it helps at all.

Lastly, how is the nursing program at UNCW? UNCG flaunts their program and their access to really good hospitals in the central NC Triad area, but what does UNCW have that may set them apart? UNCG had around a 90% pass rate for their NCLEX test for nursing, but someone told me that UNCW's May 2012 class had a 98% pass rate...

SAT: 2170
HS GPA: 4.85 (W)/3.997 (UW)
UNCG GPA: 4.00+ (I got an A+ in each of my classes this past semester)
