Calling LMU undergrad…Automated menue bs…#5…“Yeah I want to check on my admissions status”…“Your file is complete and has been reviewed, but at this point, a decision has not yet been made”…“How long until a decision is made?”…“It should be no longer than a couple of weeks”…“OK thanks for being no help what so ever to me” “You bet”…It’s like talking to a bunch of robots they say the same thing everytime.

$hit!

waiting, waiting, waiting!

i called the admissions people today too and they said two weeks if not sooner.
(im betting sooner if were rejected… just a theory)

Major: Business Marketing

but all throughout high school, i took community college classes about 40 credits received combined from SMC and EL Camino
But… i did graduate last year, so i ended up goin to whack UCSC
and my cum is 3.2

major: Sociology Minor Spanish

oh yea and my comm. coll. cum is 2.79

My stats:
Major: Screenwriting
Cum GPA: 3.71
College: Loyola University Chicago

I’m calling again…AHHHHHHHHH! Shouldn’t have done that! Same BS as yesterday(decision has not yet been made)…

Chapman nothing…

Who gave you the idea to call everyday?! How ridiculous do you want to sound like?

Well considering most schools have an online notification system, and LMU doesn’t, is it really that rediculous?

I mean lets be realistic here. I have waited 3 long monthes, paid a substantial amount of money, and invested an incredible amount of time. The way I see it, it’s the least they can do. Check out the Chapman boards, people are calling everyday there, even though they have an online notification system!

WE WANT ANSWERS DAMNIT!

Calling helps a lot! I called today, and I was trying to get out of someone what my decision was, and I called to make sure, it showed I got in last year for fall 2008, so they can see i was accepted before, and the guy told me, “well, yea, it shows you were accepted Fall 2007” and I said, well, I applied for fall 2008, and he said" well your acceptance letter was sent December 20, 2007, for fall 2008, and you were accepted as a transfer for fall 2009" so,I may have just found out my decision, but I won’t know for sure till tomorrow*

Nice! Shirlock Holmes Junior over here!

Mookie I knew you would get in b/c you were accepted before! I called yesterday and a decision still has not been made…I gotta stop calling…Im hoping Ill here by next week at the latest

I think, film students will take the longest* I mean, its the most competitive major there, give it till next Friday.

Yes, it is ridiculous of them to take 3 months to make a decision. But it’s also ridiculous of you to call in everyday.

Two wrongs don’t make one right.

If they are going to make a big deal about me calling, and black list my application because of it, then I wouldn’t want to attend their school anyways. I want a school that works for me. After all, thats what I’m going to be paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in tuition for. The person answering phones is doing a job, their getting paid! You really think its some big conspiracy like “Well this guy Joe Carroll has called 4 times this week” “4 times?!..He’s a monster!” “That’s not the worst of it….We suspect…Gulp….he’s going to call again tomorrow…DUN DUN DUN!” “God help us….”

I suppose next your going to tell me 9/11 was an inside job?
