Does anyone have any experience with a shuttle to/from campus to the Raleigh amtrak station? Safe and reasonably priced, preferably a flat rate? Thanks

Why go to the Raleigh Amtrak when Durham is significantly closer?

The time of the trip is significantly shorter. But the longer trip to the station probably cancels that out?

OK, now I am confused on what you are trying to accomplish. I am assuming you are inquiring about how to get to the Amtrak station from the UNC campus. I mentioned using the Durham station because the Amtrak station there is significantly closer to the UNC campus than the station in Raleigh. Any associated shuttle or taxi would cost much less going to Durham from UNC than if you went to Raleigh. You could also use public transportation (city bus) in Chapel Hill to get to the Durham bus system which drops directly at the Amtrak station.
