I am looking to be trilingual by the end of college. I have taken 5 years of spanish in high school and tested out of 12 credits of college spanish. I am looking to take japanese as well in college for some electives. I am going into IST (Information Science and technology)

Will being trilingual in English, Spanish, and Japanese help my job opportunities and advancement? I imagine that it makes me a better candidate than a guy with similar qualifications that is not; especially in an IT business type field where new technology from different parts of the world are created all the time.

Perhaps i could graduate with a major in IST and two minors in spanish and japanese? I doubt majors would help much more than minors in my field as long as I can speak fluently.
