Because Drexel is in trimesters does the professors tend to teach faster than schools that are in semesters? Is trimesters harder than semesters?

My friends and I affectionately refer to this type of term as a “ten week tussle”. The ten-week term is a satanic hell demon. HOWEVER, I love the ability to take so many different courses in a year. This does, however, make the learning of material a bit difficult. Additionally, you may find that the testing schedule is a lot more rigorous than other schools. With all of this being said, however, I will have taken at least 34 entirely different courses by the end of spring term and I think that’s really awesome. It does have definite pros and cons.

On the same note, because there are three terms, there is generally less content in each class than it’s equivalent at a semester school. For example, Chem 101 at a semester school might be equivalent to (most of) Chem 101 and 102 at Drexel.

I am a little confused about how the tri-mester system works. suppose someone wanted to transfer into or out of Drexel from or to a regular semester school, how would the credits transfer. I know this is possible but I just don’t get it. Can anyone fill me in. Thanx!
