Are you a student? Do you have a different take on the situation than the college’s official report?

Thanks.

Here’s the official letter from the college president:
[Trinity College](http://www.trincoll.edu/AboutTrinity/leadership/jones/letters/102309.htm)

It looks as though they handled the situation well.

Yeah I heard that they handled the situation well…I go to Connecticut college…but this was a big news even in my school.

This was the first time a lockdown was activated at the college. Students and campus security responded well and everyone was safe and secure. It appears to have been unrelated to the college in any way. Basically a young man from a shoreline town drove to Hartford, robbed a McDonalds, and committed suicide in a wooded area down the hill from campus.

this school should move

im a freshman in trinity. i think no one cares about it, like a day later everybody forgot it, we don’t even talk about that. Yea the school responded really good, kept sending us emails and warnings.
