Trinity College VS Connecticut College VS Wesleyan University

Hey guys,

so I’m an international student who just applied to all three of these schools under RD (I heard CT is a good place for education and the location is convenient so I only applied to schools there, I also know that I want to be in a small liberal arts college due to the class sizes, attention, and flexibility).
since I live abroad, I’ve never visited any of the campuses above, and have little information since I go to a local high school in my country, so I was wondering which school would you say is the best based on… (I understand all of these schools are really excellent choices, I just wanted more information  ) :

1)What is the vibe like in each school? I understand in the US, each college has a distinct vibe. (I prefer a free, accepting and diverse vibe…?). Do students at these colleges party a lot?

2)Which school has the friendliest and most passionate students? (if you have visited the campuses what were the students like on each campus?)

3)Most prestigious in terms of reputation and to find a job after graduation? I want to major in international relations and hope to land a job in NYC either in the UN or a large journalism firm.

4)internship opportunities/career support

5)inclusion of international students. I’m very nervous to attend a PWI since I’ve never been abroad, which of these schools are known for the inclusion of international students…any experience? Do international students tend to stick together on these campuses or do they integrate with local students in activities, events, and parties?

6)AND FINALLY, if it were you, which college would you choose out of the three and why? (I understand everyone has their own opinion, I just wanna hear what ur opinion would be)

I just have so little information (I only look at websites and videos on youtube, social media so far so anything you say will matter to me even if you can answer any one of these questions), thanks!

Applying to schools based on the location in a tiny state is not the best method for selecting a college or university.

What do you want to study ?

I hope to major in international relations, and also I applied to them because I know I wanted to go to a small liberal arts college, and CT just had three of the best liberal arts schools that I think would fit me after doing some research.

Based on your general criteria and academic interests, I’d recommend either Wesleyan or Connecticut College.

Beyond what appears in the next few days, many of us will write more extensively about your choices as your decisions arrive.

Wesleyan is more diverse than Conn. college and located in a better area than Trinity.

First see where you get in and where you can afford and then ask.

If you are looking for free accepting and diverse I would say Wesleyan first, Trinity second ConnColl third.

Are you able to pay full price to attend?
