troop poll

I agree with PM. Confused has too much time on his hands as we are wasting our breath. Confused will always stay confused.
We could feel sorry for him. He must not have any friends or participate in any school extra-curricular that could help him develop into a well rounded individual ....Oh....like......Our Kids.
Let's just move on and be proud of the job we have done with our own kids.
Here's a pat on the back to all "Academy Parents". :)

And does he honestly think he can bait the southern folks here into some kind of serious debate on southern history with that uneducated rabble? Not today people! LOL I've been shopping and I can hardly come down from my Visa high to make comments to a kid who can't hold a candle to ours with respect, honor & commitment. Sorry Confused, no can play today. I bought a ton of Easter chocolate & I find I'm far too busy. Besides, I fell for this last time. You guys have a turn. You're doing great!! I mean that.

Yea, Zap. Stop picking on that poor helpless child. I like that you use your powers for good other than evil. ;) :) ;)

Not always. <evil grin=""></evil>

;)

Oh! By all means continue! This has been my source of entertainment all week. It is truly funny to see someone SO clueless getting his a** handed to him.

One thing I'll add too... I'm having a hard time understanding where you (confused/clueless) are coming up with these statements like:

So you're saying that I, a seventeen-year-old from Oregon or Zaphod, a parent (don't know his age, can't be too old :D) are in ANY way responsible for the enslavement of blacks and the discrimination of African-Americans throughout history? That's frankly nonsensical!

Oh, and I like the statement "why do you constantly mix 9/11 with a discussion of iraq or nam they had nothing to do with each other, are you that ignorant you can not tell arabs apart? or are they are all just the same to you."

First: why do you liberals always decide to relate Iraq with Vietnam??? They are two completely unrelated conflicts and Vietnam is completely irrelevant when discussing current world events. Also (and I know this has already been squashed by Zaph) 9/11 and Iraq are related, and in fact are really the same conflict. You may remember (though you probably won't) that right after 9/11 the President said in a speech that we were declaring a war on terror. That means we are declaring war on all terror EVERYWHERE. Many of you morons seem to think that war on terror is only acceptable AFTER we have been terrorized. Great plan genius: let's wait for them to strike and THEN we can retaliate. I can imagine the liberals thinking: "hey, we can also blame the president for being attacked in the first place!"

I know this is probably too much to ask of you (confused), but please try and think before you post again. If that is too much, then feel free to just go away. I'm not wasting any more time on you.

For the record, I'm 38 and the father of two little girls.

I am also of Cuban descent. Both my parents escaped from Castro's "paradise" the first chance they got after he took over. My dad even spent some time in one of Castro's prisons for reasons she STILL doesn't know.

So, I am well aware of just how "wonderful" communism and socialism are, and I hardly fit the stereotype that Clueless undoubtedly has of me based upon where I live.

Zaphod, you said this
"Were it up to me, I'd have the American armed forces in Iraq face east and start walking forward, slaughtering everything in sight, until they reached water. I would have fused the Middle East in one giant glow-in-the-dark glass-covered parking lot on September 12th, and damn the outcry. You wouldn't have to worry about facing to pray to Mecca because it would be in orbit, so no matter where you lifted your ass to pray would be equally valid. To borrow a phrase from a fellow alumni, the Koran would have been read only in hell."

I think that defines you in a nutshell. You are nothing but a hate-filled murderer. If everyone thinks like you, no wonder there's so many people that are anti-military.
Jesus said those who live by the sword, die by the sword. I hope that comes true for you , with all sincerity, Z-man!

First of all, I was born here. I am not even Muslim. You just assumed that, the same way you assumed you didn't need a post-war plan, and that BLEW up in your face, literally.

In response to the comment about EC's. Of course I have EC's. They are a factor in college admissions and if I didn't have them I wouldn't have recieved a Regents nomination at UCB or an early acceptance letter to Swarthmore.

You people think that your children are sacrificing themselves so we can speak freely. I don't think so. Iraq never threatened America. Iraq doesn't even have the capability to attack America. The soldiers are in no way protecting America. The Pentagon estimates that support for terrorism in Iraq INCREASED after Mr. Danger sent troops into Iraq.
"Do you really believe Al Queda had/has cells in every major country EXCEPT Iraq" So, Al-Qaeda probably has cells here, that doesn't mean the U.S. Government is supporting them, does it?

I am done with you raving lunatics, but I hope you know that you are a tragic minority. About 30 percent of Americans approve of Bush's War so just watch in 2006 when Democrats take back Congress and end this war by taking out the funds. Then you all can go back to your ravings about the liberal media and cry your eyes out with your Confederate flags.

I've always found it interesting that Liberals always stereotype people (despite their insistence that nobody else do the same) according to their region. People in the south are closed-minded christians who hate gays and are ignorant and uncivilized. Naturally people on the west coast rank up there with New England as far as how far civilization has come. Speaking as someone who has grown up amongst a lopsided political region (Portland, OR) I can say that I CAN see how far civilization has gone... it just hasn't gotten better...

The midwest in many minds is a locale of cowboys and indians still. People think of John Wayne and saloons when you mention the midwest. Pathetic.

Enjoy your oh-so-enlightened "Bezerkely" confused. I'm sure you will fit right in ;)

Of the people who attacked us? DAMNED straight!! :D

I'd kill them by the bushel, laugh my ass off while doing it, and when I stood before the Lord, I'd say, "Yep. I did it, and You know why!"

...and he'd forgive me. :D

BTW, I thought you liberals hated Christianity? You certainly treat it as if you do.

And as for dying by the sword, you're more than welcome to come out here and try it yourself, sweetheart. Have your life insurance paid up, though. Your mommy and daddy will be needing it. :D

Whatever happened to "We support the troops but not the war?" Would you REALLY want to cut their funding? Where is your compassion?

God, this really is too much fun! Spinning this little nimrod up is like crack! I can't get enough! LOL!

As my old CO used to say, "Nuke 'em till they glow and shoot 'em in the dark".
<evil grin=""></evil>

PREACH IT, shipmate! :D

Geez! Here these guys are, WHINING throughout the 80's that we should get rid of our nukes, and here I offer a perfect and quick way to do so while accomplishing a worthy mission and at MUCH less cost, and they're STILL not satisfied!

ROFLMAO!

Whataya say if we all go over to the Berzerkley board and raise a little hell? :D:D:D:D:D:D

You said you wanted to blow up the whole middle east, last time i checked only 1 country attacked you, redneck.

And I didn't stereotype '"Were it up to me, I'd have the American armed forces in Iraq face east and start walking forward, slaughtering everything in sight, until they reached water. I would have fused the Middle East in one giant glow-in-the-dark glass-covered parking lot on September 12th, and damn the outcry.
He said it.

Yep, and the whole region applauded, hippie.

But in your view, it's so much better when AMERICANS die, right? After all, we deserve it, and if the dead are members of the military, then WOO-HOO! DAILY DOUBLE!!

Incidentally, what country attacked us? You people have been bleating since 2001 that no country attacked us.

Is this a glimmer of hope for some future enlightenment on Clueless' part? Could a neuron have ACTUALLY fired in those two pounds of provolone he has where the rest of us have brains?

Stand by for updates! :D

"You people" "Liberals" "Hippies". You constantly generalize and stereotype to make your argument based not on what I said, but what you percieve to be the "liberal mindset". Just as there is more than one type of conservative, there is more than one type of liberal. Are you suffering from indigestion from having your foot in your mouth so often?

Even if you want to say the WHOLE REGION applauded, which is false, so what. They didn't do anything violent, applause isn't a crime. And either way, the main POINT, Iraq didn't attack America.

P.S. Damn rite I would cut the funding for the war. Not only that, just becasue you go to a church, doesn't make you a Christian, just as walking into a garage doesn't make you a mechanic.

"Were it up to me, I'd have the American armed forces in Iraq face east and start walking forward, slaughtering everything in sight, until they reached water. Here it is again to remind everyone. How Christian, huh? By mentioning that you are Christian and saying that Jesus turned in his grave.

So confused, how many generations of your family have lived in America? Did your parents emigrate?

And what are you, an athiest? (That might explain a few things about your attitude!).

It's all too impossible for you to imagine, isn't it, that America is in Iraq simply to help that country move from a brutal, oppressive & murderous dictatorship toward a Democracy? (So some misguided insurgents want to stand in the way because "equal representation" would meaan a loss of power to their group and they might get to "kill Americans" in the process? Well we aren't going to bail out on the Iraqi people - we're there until they have stability - the longer the insurgents keep waging their cowardly little attacks, the longer we'll have to be there).

Can't fathom that we could actually be the "good guys"? If you can't see that, then it is sad that, even tho' you claim to have been born here, you'll never truly understand what it means to be an American. Our forefathers fought, bled & died to create a new nation that STOOD FOR SOMETHING.

It's all about FREEDOM - - a priveledge that you enjoy, but have no idea what it cost!

bz2010, why does it matter, and most importantly, why is it any of your business? Have I asked you anything about you personal life or your religion or your ethnicity? Its rude to ask these things.

And according to Zaphod, the troops are there to kill, slaughter and torture, not to spread democracy Again so you don't forget
"Were it up to me, I'd have the American armed forces in Iraq face east and start walking forward, slaughtering everything in sight, until they reached water. I would have fused the Middle East in one giant glow-in-the-dark glass-covered parking lot on September 12th, and damn the outcry.
Yes the forefathers of the Revolution died for independence from control of OTHER countries. That would make America England in this war because America is trying to control another country. Want any proof? Who is America's main ally in this war? ENGLAND!

I don't have to generalize. What I post is true. You're just too stupid to realize it.

Sweet Jesus! How can anyone be this STUPID?

LOL! Keep it coming, buddy! You're the funniest thing I've seen on the internet in quite sime time! :D

ETA: This thread is in desperate need of LOL and ROFL smilies...

Iraq was attacking American aircraft when it was flying over Iraq, you genius. How can America blame Iraq for supporting terrorism when the CIA supported the Taliban and Al-Qaeda in the 1980's against the Soviet Union. Remember how you were laughing when your friends in Al-Qaeda were killing Soviets in Afghanistan? It wasn't so nice though when they turned the tables in 2001, though , was it? There's a lesson in that story. Mind your own business and stop bothering other countries and they won't bother you.

It was a figure of speech, numbnuts.

You're obviously not any good at those, either. :D

Did I mention we were in Iraq to torture?

Did I say that? Nope. Didn't think so.

I also said what I would do were I in charge, not what we're actually doing.

Reading is fundamental, but not for liberals. ;)
