Trouble of International student

Hi people. I have a problem that stayed in my mind for a long period of time about the weight of transcript, predicted grades, sat, placed in college admission.

I was previously studying in Hong Kong, so in the year before I graduated, I transferred into a really good IB school.

But the problem is, my grades in my previous school were really really crap, since my school was one of the best and the exam papers were way more harder than other schools in my region... (I even failed in 1 subject)

SO,
Question 1: if I get a pretty good predicted grade in IB (40 + ), good EC and SAT score (2000+), what are my chances in Ivies???

Question 2 & 3 : I am going to study in this IB school for 2 years, so the college in US will only require me to provide the last 2 years in my old school?? how damaging will that be if I failed in 1 subject in my last 2 years in my old school??
